A lot can change in just one week!
The last time we checked in with Mini × Nico, the puppies were around 13 days old and their eyes were just beginning to open. Now, at almost three weeks old, those little eyes are open and the puppies are starting to look completely different.
Opening their eyes is one of the first big changes during these early weeks. Their vision is still developing, but they’re beginning to take in more of the world around them and become more aware of their surroundings.
As those eyes open, we’re finally getting a much better look at their faces. The chocolate and chocolate tri coloring is becoming more noticeable, facial markings are standing out, and each puppy is starting to develop their own distinct look.
It’s crazy to compare these pictures to their newborn photos. Just a couple of weeks ago, they were tiny, sleepy pups with their eyes completely closed. Now their faces are changing, their bodies are growing, and they’re slowly starting to look less like newborns and more like little puppies.
At almost three weeks old, they’re also getting stronger and becoming more mobile. Those wobbly little movements are only the beginning as they start learning how to use their legs and explore more of what’s around them.
This is one of those stages where the changes seem to happen almost overnight. Every few days brings something new, and their individual looks are only going to become more noticeable from here.
Almost three weeks down, and Mini × Nico has already come a long way!
