What a Difference a Week Makes

From 2 Weeks to 3 Weeks Old

It's amazing how much can change in just one week.

At two weeks old, the puppies’ eyes were beginning to open, they were still spending most of their time sleeping and nursing, and their movements were pretty limited.

And then... week three happened.

Just seven days later, they are more alert and starting to look like actual little dogs instead of newborn potatoes. Their eyes are fully open, they are getting stronger on their feet, and their little faces are changing so quickly.

The side-by-side photos really show just how much they have grown in one week.

🤎 Brown Collar Male

2 Weeks → 3 Weeks

Still the biggest puppy in the litter, Brown Collar is filling out beautifully. His champagne and white coloring is becoming even more noticeable as he grows, and he is getting stronger and more alert every day.

🤍 White Collar Female

2 Weeks → 3 Weeks

White Collar continues to be a solid girl. Her chocolate coat and white markings are becoming more defined as she grows. She is already the most active puppy in the litter and is beginning to show signs of a playful personality.

💚 Green Collar Male

2 Weeks → 3 Weeks

Green Collar is growing into such a handsome boy. He has a solid chocolate coat with white front paws and little ticking beginning to show on them. He is much more alert now and getting steadier on his feet.

🩵 Blue Collar Female

2 Weeks → 3 Weeks

Blue Collar is changing so much. Her chocolate coat is beginning to show more of her brindle pattern, which has become easier to see as she grows. We’ll definitely be sharing more of it over the next few weeks.

Week Three Changes

Week three is a fun stage because the puppies are becoming much more aware of the world around them. They are starting to move around more confidently, interact with one another, and respond more to what is happening around them.

Their personalities are also slowly beginning to peek through. There is still plenty of sleeping and nursing happening, but their awake periods are getting more interesting by the day.

The difference between two and three weeks may only be seven days, but with puppies, seven days is a lot of growing.
