It's hard to believe Pablo x MC puppies are already one week old.
The first week of life is one of the most important stages in a puppy's development. While they spend most of their time sleeping and nursing, there's a lot happening behind the scenes to help give them the best possible start.
Right now, our days revolve around a simple routine.
The puppies nurse every 2–3 hours, and we make sure each one has a chance to eat well and stay warm. We monitor their weights daily to ensure they're growing at a healthy pace. So far, all four puppies are gaining weight and growing just as they should.

Week one is also when we begin Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS). It may sound complicated, but it's simply a series of five gentle exercises that expose the puppies to different positions and experiences for just a few seconds each day.
Head Held Upright

Head Pointed Down

Supine Position (muzzle facing up)

Tactile Stimulation (tickle paws with cotton swab)

Thermal Stimulation (place puppy on cold surface)
We also continue Early Scent Introduction (ESI). Each day, the puppies are introduced to a different scent, and we simply document whether their response is positive, negative, or no reaction.
This week's scent was pine, and two puppies showed a positive response while the other two showed a negative response.

Even though the puppies can't see or hear yet, they're growing a little stronger every day. It's amazing how much can change in just one week, and we're excited to continue sharing their journey as they reach new milestones over the coming weeks.
